When the TV doctor failed to return from a walk on the Greek island of Symi, where they are vacationing with another couple, his wife alerted authorities on Wednesday.
The mayor of Symi, a Greek island, has announced that the broadcaster's four children have now arrived to assist with the search.
According to Eleftherios Papakaloudoukas, there is "no chance" that the search, which has included divers, drones, and helicopters, will end before the 67-year-old is located.
Speaking via a translator, however, the 22-year mayor questioned how anyone could endure the temperatures that reached as high as 40C (104F) on the day that Mosley vanished. He said that when the search restarted on Saturday morning, the warmth prevented the search dog from working for more than an hour.
After walking alone from Saint Nikolas Beach, where he had been with his wife Clare and another couple, to the island's center on Wednesday, Mosley vanished from sight. Later, at 2:00 PM, he was captured on camera at the 1.2 mile distant fishing village of Pedi.
Mosley was seen carrying an umbrella while carrying a dark T-shirt, shorts, and a cap on restaurant footage. He may be seen entering a hilly trail that leads interior in another video that was shot from a residence on the outskirts of Pedi.

When he did not come back, his medical wife sounded the alarm. Mosley's lack of a cell phone complicated efforts to track him down.
"The path is not easy to follow; if he took a wrong turn, he would be lost," one of the rescuers remarked. "He could be anywhere, it is a race against time."
Teams searching a 6.5 km radius across a mountainous terrain that search organizers described as "very dangerous" resumed their search for Mosley at 6 a.m. on Saturday.
The region where the missing British person is thought to have gone is described by Mr.
Papakaloudoukas as having "loads" of snakes and being "only rocks" and "difficult to pass". He continued: "He chose paths which are very difficult to walk in such temperatures and under any circumstances."

"Everyone in the community is so sad about this," Mr. Papakaloudoukas added, expressing his hope that Mosley was found "safe and alive."
The statement "never happened before" was made by him. "A lot of" islanders had joined the hunt for the British national using their own boats, according to Mika, the mayor's daughter. "It's such a small island to get lost on," she continued. For us, it's very strange. Everyone is searching for him and is concerned."

According to reports, authorities have examined other theories regarding Mosley's disappearance, such as the possibility that he fell or was bitten by a snake.
It is believed that on Tuesday, Mosley, his spouse, and the other couple arrived in Symi for a week-long vacation.
