Donald Trump, the former US president, was convicted guilty in a Manhattan court of criminal charges. The court heard the case for six months before announcing the decision on Thursday. Melania Trump, the spouse of Trump, was not visible in the courtroom during the session. On the Thursday that her husband was found guilty, Melania was not even by his side. The former first lady says nothing at all.
Analysts speculate that Melania's silence—or lack thereof—in the courtroom may not come as a surprise. The reason for this is the case against Trump. The allegations against Trump center on his alleged payment of $130,000 as a bribe to Stormy Daniels, a former porn star, to keep her quiet about his sexual relationship.
Trump was residing with Melania at the time of the alleged relationship between her and him and Stormy Daniels. Trump, though, has consistently denied having a relationship with the former porn star. Melania has not said a word since the court declared Trump guilty, but the rest of the Trump family has been observed to speak out quite a bit. Eric Trump, the president's son, was present in the courtroom on Thursday as his father was sentenced. He briefly grasped onto his father as he was leaving the courthouse.

Later, Eric said, "May 30 his father may see as the day he wins the presidential election," in a post on X. Donald Trump Jr., one of Trump's other sons, gave a brief response on TikTok. The father simply used an exclamation point to convey his emotions after the court pronounced him guilty.
Ivanka and Tiffany Trump, the president's two children, were not in the courtroom during this time. Ivanka, the oldest daughter, responded on social media, though. Trump received a letter from Ivanka saying, "I love you, dad."
